How it works

From accident to keys back — in 5 steps.

No paperwork to chase. No phone tag with adjusters. We handle the entire insurance process so you can focus on getting back to your life.

  1. 1

Call your insurance — or us first

You can file a claim with your carrier first, or call us at +1 (707) 777-7747 and we'll walk you through it. If your car can't drive, we arrange free towing.

  2. 2

    We handle the paperwork

Bring us your claim number and we'll deal directly with your adjuster — appraisal scheduling, supplements, photos, line-item negotiation. Your only job is dropping off the car.

  3. 3

    Free rental coordination

Insurance includes rental coverage? We coordinate the pickup through our partner Car Mart Rentals (carmartrentals.com) so the rental is waiting when you drop off your vehicle.

  4. 4

    OEM-quality repair

I-CAR-certified technicians, factory repair procedures, and OEM parts whenever your policy allows. We document every step with photos that go straight to your phone.

  5. 5

Pick up and drive — lifetime warranty

Final inspection, detail wash, and you're back on the road. Every collision and refinish repair is backed by our lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car.

What we handle

Every part of the insurance claim — done for you.

You shouldn't have to become an insurance expert just because someone hit your car. Here's what we take off your plate:

Direct billing

We invoice your insurance directly — no out-of-pocket front-loading.

Supplement claims

When the adjuster missed damage, we file supplements at no cost to you.

Free 24/7 towing

Within Van Nuys, Sherman Oaks, Encino, Beverly Hills, North Hollywood.

Rental coordination

We schedule the rental so it's waiting the day you drop off.

Adjuster negotiation

If they low-ball the estimate, we fight for the correct repair scope.

Total-loss assistance

If the car is totaled, we help you understand the settlement and next steps.

Your rights as a California driver

You choose the body shop — not your insurance company.

Free choice of repair facility

California law guarantees your right to choose any licensed body shop. Your insurer can recommend one, but cannot require it.

Right to OEM parts

You may request OEM (original manufacturer) parts. Many policies require disclosure when non-OEM parts are proposed.

Right to a quality repair

Your insurer must pay for a repair that restores your car to its pre-loss condition — not just the cheapest option.

Right to a written estimate

You're entitled to a written, itemized estimate before any work begins. Always read it carefully — we'll walk you through it.

Why customers and adjusters choose us

Certified, transparent, accountable.

Insurance adjusters approve our supplements quickly because our documentation is meticulous. Customers come back because the repair is right the first time.

I-CAR Gold Certified

The industry's top training certification — re-certified annually.

OEM repair procedures

We follow each manufacturer's factory body and paint specifications.

Lifetime warranty

Body, paint, and refinish work warrantied for as long as you own the car.

Over 38 five-star reviews

Rated 5★ on Google — consistently the highest-reviewed body shop in Van Nuys.

“I was rear-ended on the 405. International Auto Collision picked up my car, dealt with my insurance for three weeks, fought a low-ball estimate, got me a rental, and delivered my car looking better than new. I never had to call my adjuster once.”

Insurance FAQ

Questions every insured driver asks.

Honest, plain-English answers — no industry jargon, no sales pitch.

Do I have to use the body shop my insurance recommends?

No. In California (and most states), you have the legal right to choose any licensed auto body shop. Your insurer cannot require you to use a specific shop — they can only suggest one. If anyone pressures you otherwise, that may violate state insurance regulations.

Do you work with my insurance company?

Yes. We work with every major insurer including State Farm, GEICO, Allstate, Progressive, USAA, Farmers, Mercury, Liberty Mutual, AAA, Nationwide, Travelers, and many more. We've never turned away a customer because of their carrier.

What about my deductible? Can it be waived?

Deductibles are part of your contract with your insurer — by law we can't waive or absorb them. What we can do is help you understand what's covered, time the repair to your cash flow, and make sure no avoidable line items inflate your out-of-pocket cost.

Will I get OEM (original) parts?

It depends on your policy. Many policies allow OEM parts for newer vehicles or when safety-critical (airbag systems, structural components). We always document our recommendation in the estimate so you can request OEM coverage from your adjuster when appropriate.

Do I need to get three estimates?

No. The 'three estimates' rule is a myth — most insurers only require one. Bring your car (or photos) to us and we'll handle the rest. If your insurer insists on more, we'll work with whatever process they require.

How long does insurance repair take?

Most repairs take 5-10 business days once parts arrive. Insurance approval typically adds 1-3 days at the start, plus any time needed for supplements (extra-damage approvals). We give you a realistic timeline before work begins and update you at every stage.

What if the adjuster's estimate is too low?

Very common. We file a supplement on your behalf with photos, OEM specs, and labor-time documentation. About 70% of our repairs require at least one supplement to capture the full scope of damage. No cost to you.

What is a Direct Repair Program (DRP)?

DRP is an arrangement where a shop agrees to specific pricing and turnaround commitments with an insurer in exchange for being a recommended provider. We participate selectively — only where the program doesn't compromise repair quality or OEM standards.

Do you provide free rental car coordination?

Yes. If your policy includes rental coverage, we schedule pickup through our partner Car Mart Rentals (carmartrentals.com) so the car is waiting the day you drop off your vehicle. If your policy doesn't include rental, we'll let you know upfront so you can plan accordingly.

What if my car is totaled?

If the repair cost exceeds the insurer's threshold (usually around 75-80% of vehicle value), they'll declare it a total loss. We'll explain the settlement process, help you negotiate the Actual Cash Value (ACV) if it seems low, and provide documentation if you decide to dispute the total-loss decision.

Ready to start your claim?

Submit your claim details online — we'll coordinate everything with your adjuster from there. No commitment, no pressure, just expert help.
