What we handle for you

You shouldn't become an insurance expert just because someone hit your car.

Here's what we take off your plate β€” at no cost above your insurance settlement.

Direct billing to your insurance

We invoice your insurance company directly. You pay only your deductible β€” never the full repair up front.

We negotiate with the adjuster

Low-ball estimate? Missed damage? We push back with photos, OEM specs, and labor-time documentation β€” until the scope is right.

Supplements at no cost to you

About 70% of collision claims need at least one supplement once we tear down the damage. We file every supplement on your behalf.

Rental car coordinated for you

If your policy includes rental coverage, we schedule the pickup so a car is waiting the day you drop yours off β€” through our partner Car Mart Rentals.

Free pickup & delivery

If your car can drive but you can't get away from work, we'll pick it up from your home or office and drop it back when it's done.

Total-loss assistance

If your car is declared a total loss, we help you understand the settlement, dispute a low Actual Cash Value, and plan next steps.

How it works

From accident to keys back β€” in 3 steps.

No phone tag with adjusters. No paperwork to chase. We handle every step.

β€œI was rear-ended on the 405. International Auto Collision picked up my car, dealt with my insurance for three weeks, fought a low-ball estimate, got me a rental, and delivered my car looking better than new. I never had to call my adjuster once.”

Your rights as a California driver

You choose the body shop β€” not your insurance company.

Free choice of repair facility

California law guarantees your right to choose any licensed body shop. Your insurer can recommend one, but cannot require it.

Right to OEM parts

You may request OEM (original manufacturer) parts. Many policies require disclosure when non-OEM parts are proposed.

Right to a quality repair

Your insurer must pay for a repair that restores your car to its pre-loss condition β€” not just the cheapest option.

Right to a written estimate

You're entitled to a written, itemized estimate before any work begins. We'll walk you through every line.

Insurance FAQ

Questions every insured driver asks.

Honest, plain-English answers β€” no industry jargon.

Do I have to use the body shop my insurance recommends?

No. In California (and most states), you have the legal right to choose any licensed auto body shop. Your insurer cannot require you to use a specific shop β€” they can only suggest one. If anyone pressures you otherwise, that may violate state insurance regulations.

What about my deductible? Can it be waived?

Deductibles are part of your contract with your insurer β€” by law we can't waive or absorb them. What we can do is help you understand what's covered, time the repair to your cash flow, and make sure no avoidable line items inflate your out-of-pocket cost.

How long does insurance repair take?

Most repairs take 5-10 business days once parts arrive. Insurance approval typically adds 1-3 days at the start, plus any time needed for supplements (extra-damage approvals). We give you a realistic timeline before work begins and update you at every stage.

Will I get OEM (original) parts?

It depends on your policy. Many policies allow OEM parts for newer vehicles or when safety-critical (airbag systems, structural components). We always document our recommendation in the estimate so you can request OEM coverage from your adjuster when appropriate.

What if the adjuster's estimate is too low?

Very common. We file a supplement on your behalf with photos, OEM specs, and labor-time documentation. About 70% of our repairs require at least one supplement to capture the full scope of damage. No cost to you.

Do I need three estimates?

No. The 'three estimates' rule is a myth β€” most insurers only require one. Bring your car (or photos) to us and we'll handle the rest. If your insurer insists on more, we'll work with whatever process they require.

Do you provide a free rental car?

If your policy includes rental coverage, yes β€” we coordinate the pickup through our partner Car Mart Rentals so the car is waiting the day you drop off yours. If your policy doesn't include rental, we'll tell you upfront so you can plan accordingly.

What if my car is totaled?

If the repair cost exceeds the insurer's threshold (usually around 75-80% of the vehicle's value), they'll declare it a total loss. We'll explain the settlement process, help you negotiate the Actual Cash Value (ACV) if it seems low, and provide documentation if you decide to dispute the total-loss decision.

Ready to start your Liberty Mutual claim?

Call us right now and we'll walk you through the next step. No commitment, no pressure β€” just expert help from a body shop that's been doing this for decades.
